REVIEW OF "SARKAR RAJ"

OVER-SENSATIONAL , OVER-HYPED , REASONABLY ILLOGICAL DARK THRILLER
Every camera angle taking close-ups of the lead characters (Big B , Small B and even Aishwarya rai bachhan) , every dialogue , slow and short one-liners , said as if this one is the best one of the whole movie , only to turn out to be just another predictive RGV style comment and every relationship is portrayed(be it of a father and son...of a top foreign company executive and the chhote sarkar of mumbai), seemingly imitating the silent hollywood ishtyle only to be left out in middle belonging neither to the bollywood's masala nor to the hollywood's cunning drama . So much the characters are made to talk with their eyes(or they try to) that you are left praying to god for some normal talking and display of emotions on the big screen. Despite all these unfortunate but foolish failures, the movie scores with some fabulous performance of the ace artiste . Abhishek rocks all through the movie but finally and usually the big boss subash nagre aka SARKAR ,Amitabh bachhan steals the show with the climatic performance that certainly do something but little to save the movie. The background score of Amar mohile succeeds in carrying the movie forward though at times it overdoes itself and comes unnaturally and misplaced. Seeking where the problem lies in this much hyped dark blockbuster u'll quickly find out that its nothing but the lack of a good fine plot which seems to be the problem with almost all of recent ramu's movies. Finally sarkar raj fails to stick audience to their theatre seat and one can certainly take some time off and evasdrop on the couple sitting beside. you ceratainly do miss a k .k menon.
